EU-Speak: Working with LESLLA Learners

Dear LESLLA Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that registration for the EU-Speak module is now available. 

• ‌Describe characteristics of LESLLA literacy learners
• Select materials and resources appropriate for the assessed needs of this learner group
• Develop print awareness and recognise sound/symbol correspondence
• Analyse techniques and strategies for incorporating literacy skills into a thematic lesson
• Design and implement an activity and lesson for LESLLA literacy learners

The module is hosted on a Moodle platform and offered in English as well as German, Spanish, Turkish and Italian.

A $55 fee provides an enrolment key to gain access to the module.  Registration and enrolment information to be posted here from 9th May 2022.

This covers all administrative and technical support, which enables the volunteer-run EU-Speak Board to offer modules. There is no charge for the optional personalized Certificate of Completion which acknowledges 30hrs CPD on this module.
